Return & Refund Policy

This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made from Ikonic Badges at ikonicbadges.com.

Ikonic Badges sells both standard products and custom, personalized, and made-to-order products. Because many of our products are produced specifically for each customer, return and cancellation eligibility depends on the type of product ordered and the status of production.

1. Custom and Made-to-Order Products

Custom, personalized, modified, special-order, and made-to-order products are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or cancelled once production has started.

This includes, but is not limited to, products with custom text, custom colours, custom designs, custom sizing, custom fitment, uploaded artwork, customer-requested changes, LED options, special finishes, or any product manufactured specifically for your order.

Custom and made-to-order products are not eligible for return or refund because of:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect product selection

  • Incorrect vehicle year, make, model, trim, or fitment information provided by the customer

  • Incorrect spelling, capitalization, wording, colour, or design details approved or submitted by the customer

  • Customer installation issues

  • Buyer’s remorse

  • Delays caused by missing information, late approvals, carrier delays, customs delays, or circumstances outside our control

  • Minor colour, finish, brightness, or appearance differences caused by screen settings, lighting, material batches, or production methods

If a custom or made-to-order product arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered due to an error by Ikonic Badges, we will work with you to make it right.

2. Standard / Non-Custom Products

Standard, non-custom products may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery if they are unused, uninstalled, undamaged, and in original condition.

To request a return, contact us at sales@ikonicbadges.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and reason for return.

Returned items must be shipped back in their original packaging or in packaging that protects the product from damage during return shipping.

Items that have been installed, used, modified, damaged, scratched, wired, cut, painted, bent, altered, or otherwise changed from their original condition are not eligible for return.

3. Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Missing Items

Please inspect your order when it arrives.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing, contact us at sales@ikonicbadges.com within 14 days of delivery. Include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the product

  • Clear photos of the packaging, if the item arrived damaged

  • Any other information needed to review the issue

If we confirm that the item was damaged, defective, missing, or made incorrectly due to an error by Ikonic Badges, we may provide a replacement, repair, store credit, refund, or other reasonable solution depending on the situation.

Do not discard damaged items or packaging until your claim has been reviewed. We may need photos or return of the product to process a replacement, refund, or carrier claim.

4. Customer Errors

Ikonic Badges is not responsible for errors caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Incorrect shipping address

  • Incorrect vehicle information

  • Incorrect badge size or style selected

  • Incorrect colour, finish, or option selected

  • Incorrect spelling, wording, capitalization, or design information provided by the customer

  • Failure to review product details before checkout

  • Failure to review and approve a proof, render, or design preview carefully

  • Installation mistakes or surface preparation issues

If we are able to help correct a customer error, additional production, replacement, shipping, or design fees may apply.

5. Order Changes and Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at sales@ikonicbadges.com.

We will do our best to help, but changes and cancellations are not guaranteed.

Orders cannot usually be changed or cancelled once production has started, materials have been prepared, custom design work has begun, or the order has shipped.

For custom or made-to-order products, design work, setup work, materials, and production may begin shortly after the order is placed. If we approve a cancellation after work has started, we may deduct reasonable design, setup, material, payment processing, or production costs from any refund.

6. Return Shipping

Unless the return is due to an error by Ikonic Badges, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Original shipping charges, upgraded shipping charges, rush fees, design fees, setup fees, and payment processing fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or unless the return is due to an error by Ikonic Badges.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service and packaging the item carefully. Ikonic Badges is not responsible for returned items that are lost, damaged, or delayed in transit.

If a return is approved because we sent the wrong item, the item arrived damaged, or the item was defective due to our error, we may provide a return label or another reasonable return/replacement solution.

7. Refunds

If a return or refund is approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

Please allow time for your bank, credit card company, PayPal, Afterpay, or other payment provider to process and post the refund. Processing times are controlled by the payment provider and may vary.

Approved refunds may exclude original shipping charges, upgraded shipping charges, return shipping, rush fees, design fees, setup fees, payment processing fees, or other non-refundable charges unless the refund is due to an error by Ikonic Badges or unless otherwise required by law.

8. Exchanges

We do not guarantee exchanges.

If you ordered the wrong standard, non-custom item and the product is unused, uninstalled, undamaged, and in original condition, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we may be able to help you exchange it.

Custom and made-to-order products are not eligible for exchange unless they arrive damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered due to an error by Ikonic Badges.

9. Installation Issues

Products that have been installed, attempted to be installed, wired, modified, removed, scratched, damaged, or altered are not eligible for return unless the issue is caused by a confirmed defect or error by Ikonic Badges.

Installation should be performed carefully and, where appropriate, by a qualified installer. Ikonic Badges is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, improper wiring, incorrect surface preparation, misuse, removal, pressure washing, harsh chemicals, vehicle modifications, or failure to follow instructions.

10. LED and Electrical Products

LED and electrical products must be inspected before installation.

Before installing, wiring, mounting, or modifying an LED product, test the product carefully and contact us immediately if there is an issue.

LED and electrical products are not eligible for return after installation, wiring, modification, cutting, splicing, or attempted installation unless the issue is caused by a confirmed defect or error by Ikonic Badges.

Damage caused by incorrect wiring, incorrect voltage, incorrect polarity, poor grounding, moisture intrusion caused by installation, cutting, splicing, modification, or improper use is not covered.

11. Final Sale Items

The following items are final sale unless they arrive damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered due to an error by Ikonic Badges:

  • Custom products

  • Personalized products

  • Made-to-order products

  • Special-order products

  • Clearance items

  • Gift cards

  • Digital products

  • Products that have been installed, used, modified, wired, damaged, or altered

  • Products marked final sale on the product page

12. Shipping and Delivery Issues

Shipping times, delivery estimates, carriers, tracking, duties, taxes, customs, returned packages, and address issues are covered in our Shipping Policy.

Ikonic Badges is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, weather, incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, refusal of delivery, or circumstances outside our control.

If a package is marked delivered by the carrier but you cannot locate it, contact the carrier and contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to help, but replacement or refund eligibility will depend on the circumstances and carrier investigation.

Items sent back without contacting us first may not be accepted.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection laws.
